MARIO MUSCARIELLO

MARIO MUSCARIELLO is the original brand of MILS1964, founded by Giuseppe Muscariello in San Giorgio a Cremano—a town near Naples renowned as a sacred place of Neapolitan tailoring.

While the current atelier was officially established in 1964, the Muscariello family’s tailoring heritage dates back to the 1870s, beginning with their forefather, a shirtmaker by trade. Initially focusing on nightwear, the workshop began producing handmade su misura shirts in 1973. Later, Giuseppe’s beloved son Mario joined the atelier and launched the brand MARIO MUSCARIELLO, proudly bearing his own name.

While honoring the tradition of handmade shirt-making, Mario introduced modern reinterpretations, expanding his creations into Capri shirts and shirt jackets. Today, the collection includes exceptionally lightweight tailored jackets, all crafted with abundant handwork and signature Neapolitan flair.
